Buyers and suppliers agree to the manufacturing terms and conditions specified by Kumopack according to international standards. Both parties mutually accept the following terms:

1. Packaging Box Dimensions

  • 1Box sizes are produced based on the quotation. The supplier must clearly specify inner, outer, and score line dimensions. If not specified, the confirmed sample dimensions take precedence.
  • 2The supplier must send a sample box matching the quoted size for buyer verification before production. If production begins before buyer confirmation, the supplier bears full responsibility and must reproduce the order or refund the deposit in full.
  • 3Box dimensions reference the score line or buyer-confirmed sample, with a tolerance of ±2mm per side. Products within this tolerance cannot be rejected or returned.
  • 4The buyer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of sample box dimensions.

2. Paper Specifications & GSM

  • 1Paper color specifications follow the invoice. The supplier must send color shade samples for buyer confirmation before every production run.
  • 2Paper GSM follows the invoice. The supplier must provide actual-spec box samples or paper sheets for buyer confirmation before producing new sizes.
  • 3GSM references standard values. If the GSM does not match the confirmed invoice specifications, the supplier is responsible for damages in that lot.
  • 4For inner fluting GSM, the supplier must inform the buyer of the paper GSM used. The buyer may reject shipments that do not match the stated specifications.

3. Production & Printing

  • 1The supplier produces and delivers boxes according to the invoice specifications for strength, color, and GSM. The fluting must not be crushed in a way that compromises structural integrity.
  • 2Print colors are agreed upon using Pantone C codes (for flexography) or CMYK (for digital print). The supplier must provide Pantone C color swatches on the actual paper stock, with clear lower/upper tolerance limits upon request.
  • 3Paper GSM references the latest buyer-confirmed invoice. The overall GSM variance across all layers must not exceed the specified threshold.

4. Production Quantities

  • 1Production quantity tolerance is ±3% of the order. If there is a shortage, the supplier may close the deal with buyer consent.
  • 2If the shortage exceeds 3% and the buyer does not consent, the supplier must produce the remaining quantity as agreed.
  • 3If the shortage is within 3%, the supplier may close the deal per the purchase order even without buyer consent, as the buyer has accepted Kumopack's production terms.

5. Delivery

  • 1After production is complete, the supplier must deliver within the mutually agreed timeframe, with a maximum delay of 5 business days. Beyond this, the system imposes a 2% daily penalty on sales, or the buyer may request a supplier change or cancellation.
  • 2After production is complete, the supplier is responsible for coordinating delivery with the buyer. If the buyer is unreachable or reschedules, the supplier is not considered to have exceeded the delivery deadline.
  • 3The supplier must deliver goods to the agreed location. Delivery includes unloading at ground level but excludes carrying up floors, elevators, or distances beyond 50 meters from the delivery vehicle. Additional charges may apply for such conditions.

6. Payment for Goods

  • 1Once the buyer accepts the quotation and agrees to purchase, the supplier must issue an invoice within the system.
  • 2After the buyer makes payment, the amount is held as a production deposit by Kumopack until the goods are delivered and accepted. Upon deal closure, Kumopack transfers the balance to the supplier.
  • 3After the supplier receives the order, they must send samples for buyer confirmation. Upon buyer approval, Kumopack releases the first 50% deposit to the supplier to begin production. Day 1 of production starts from the confirmation date.
  • 4After delivery, the buyer must inspect and confirm acceptance within the system. If the buyer does not confirm or file a claim within 7 days of receiving goods, the system automatically closes the deal.
